They have come along way!!

Here is B his first year as an AP. We made some great friends that year! Back in 2005, none of us had any kiddos...
They are all at different schools now, thanks to promotions and what not, but we have managed to get together occasionally over the years. When we get together, we always seem to be eating some sort of fried seafood...weird? Everyone is so busy making the world a better place. We had to schedule this dinner almost a month in advance, but it was worth it.
Our families have really grown...and are continuing to grow...two more by the end of this year :)
PS Do you know how amazing this picture is? 5 kids all looking relatively close to the camera with relatively content looks on their little faces... I won't tell you what all the adult were doing to make this happen. They might lose their jobs :)

On the way home, we got to take the ferry! It was awesome!

You know your daughter isn't feeling well when...

When we got to C's game, AM spend over 30 minutes just laying on my chest. It came out of no where. She started to feel warm, so I took her home and put her to bed with some medicine! At one point her fever was 104 and she was shaking! I FREAKED OUT!!! It turns out our kids aren't sick very often and I was beside myself. Luckily, B is level headed. No big deal, I know, kids go through this everyday...right? She was doing much better on Sun.

Here is Granny taking a turn comforting AM!!
After dinner she brought a pillow in the kitchen and laid down... I wonder if she was tired?

Despite the drama, C had a good game. Evidently, he made a great save while in goal! Goalie? My kid? Who knew?

Here are some pics from Ms. L

I can't believe that she can take such WONDERFUL care of our little ones...and get such amazing pictures. She truly loves our C and AM...We are soooooo lucky to have her!

She can even get AM to take naps...on the couch!!

This is AM with her BFF. They are so cute together!! Look at those pigtails!!

A pirate says "ARGH!"

This weekend we went to a birthday party that had a pirate theme. Luckily, the weather was nice on Sun after ALL the rain we got on Sat. It was so funny. They had bandannas, eye patches, telescopes, necklaces, and a treasure for the kids. They also had an eyeliner pencil on hand for drawing mustaches and beards, etc. HILARIOUS!!

AM and her buddy were making faces at each other. So cute!

Say "Argh!!" Here is the group photo after the big treasure hunt!!

At the end of the party, all the kids scored an inflatable sword...That's when things got interesting. The pirates ended up chasing each other around with the swords...Here they are chasing B!!

We are just about ready.

So, we finally set up the crib and bassinet in AC's room this weekend. Lucky for us, it rained ALL day and we couldn't really venture out. We move all C's clothes and belonging to his new room with his new loft bed. He sleeps on the top, by the way. Makes me sooooo nervous, but he really loves it. The first night he was so excited he said, "I 'm so excited...I CAN'T CALM DOWN!"

We went through all the toys and closets and clothes and made a hefty donation to goodwill in the process. I always say...IT has to get worse before it gets better. I thought B was going to go run in the traffic because our house was such a mess!

BEFORE!!

AFTER!!!!

Yeah! Anyone is welcome to come over and sleep on the queen bed on the bottom...PAPA?

Baby#3 2.0

Today marks the TWO WEEK mark. Two more weeks until we have a 3rd little one. I can't believe we are going to do this again :) I feel like we have just started to gain some control over our lives and now we are going to lose it. We are so excited to have AC, don't get me wrong, but I must admit that I am nervous as well.

Both my previous births were inductions. Not really by choice, but more out of necessity. C was over a week late and my mom was going to have to leave. We had to induce if I wanted her help...and I did want her help!!! We had so many complication with AM that they insisted on taking her at 37 weeks. I was in labor with both for over 12 ish hours. I just have no idea what to expect with this one. What if I have "contractions"? I won't even know what they are. What if my water does break? Crazy! We will see I guess.

So even though I am 9 1/2 months pregnant, even though I am due in 2 weeks, B still MADE me mow the lawn. He is such a slave driver! He says I have to earn my keep before my parents come and baby me. I can't wait! I had even tutored from 4-7 after a long day at work... poor K! A mom's work is never done. Now I need to go straighten the house for the maids...

Another great visit in Austin!!

B had some more to do to help his brother fix up their new house. He pressure washed the entire fence!! Their backyard looks so fancy now:) The also painted some of the paneling in the house. Things are coming along nicely.

Tbird and me and the kids met a friend of mine that I played soccer with in High School and College. She just had her 3rd baby:) We are opposite with kiddos. She had girl, boy, boy and I will have boy, girl, girl. All of our little ones are right around the same age. We had such a good time, but lets face it, with all those kids we didn't talk as much as I would have liked. Lucky for me, Aunt Tbird spent her time watching MY kids so that we could catch up a bit!

Here we are, 15 years after high school...Man, I am big as a whale!

We were fortunate to get this photo. I had to bribe my uncooperative children with a cookie to get them to stand this close to one another!

AND!!! Uncle B-rad and B built a ladder up to the pirate ship tree house! Finally, C could climb up there!!

C's Easter party at school.

On Thursday, C had an Easter Egg Hunt and lunch at school...I was so excited because I was able to go. He was so cute. I just stared at him...probably made him uncomfortable, but it is so special to be able to see you kid interact with teachers and other kids. The environment is so different then at home. It made me fall in love with him all over again!

Here they are waiting in line for the hunt!!
The kids had to look for the egg with their name on it. Granny loved this idea!! Said it would have helped with the older brothers vs little brothers egg hunts :)

Here is C waiting to pray :)

Happy Easter!!

This morning, before the torrential down pour, the Easter bunny came and we were able to get in a quick Easter Egg Hunt!! Don't they look so cute in their matching outfits. I can't wait until AC arrives and she can wear her dress as well :)

C is such a good big brother... Most of the time!

This weekend...

B and Pops worked on a new loft bed for C! It will go over our existing queen bed and will be stained a darker brown.

The kiddos HAD to play in the sprinkler on Sun. The weather was nice, but they were a little cold. They managed to have a good time :)

Then, they helped shuck the corn for dinner! They are so helpful. It took them a LONG time, but C was able to get all the "hairs" off the corn.

Now that is a birthday party!

Last weekend, we were very busy. We had a birthday party Saturday afternoon. This party had it ALL!! There was a bounce house(moonwalk), what ever you call it. There was a snow cone machine. There was a PONY! There was hay filled with treats that you had to search for, like an Easter Egg Hunt. There was face painting! MAN ALIVE, it was a good time!! The party was for 3 siblings that just turned 2, 3, and 4... so it was definitely a BIG event!!

Here is AM on her pony ride. They had chaps, a vest, hat, and bandanna to wear when it was your turn! AM wasn't into the chaps. She managed to keep her legs clear of the brush though.

Look at C working the shoulder shrug in the bounce. I think he spent literally 45 minutes straight in there. He came out just long enough to have some cake and a snow cone:)
Here is B... chillin' ... sippin' on Cotton Candy snow cones!

Here is a great idea if you feel like your kiddos have too many toys. The host just had a $10 gift exchange. So instead of bringing a gift for the birthday kids, you just brought a $10 gift. Then, all the kids got a present:) C scored a 24 pack of PlayDoh...B's favorite. Surprisingly, B let the kids play with it inside! Pretty fun!
