JuJu and S came to visit this week...

They have been such a big part of our lives and our children's lives. Now that they are both living far away, it was a real treat to have them over for dinner. THANK God they still haven't found a new dentist:)
This is JuJu with C when he was first born.
And geez...S is just a Junior here I think.
Here is C a little older. Man he has some ears, right?
Here is S with little AM:)
And JuJu with our little girl!!
AM just learned how to do that yellow puzzle in the background. She can't get the pieces in, but she can finally put them on the correct animal. We are very proud!

Well Done B!

Before...
During...

While the kids and I were out gallivanting around on the lake with our babysitters, Daddy was at home, slaving away painting the house with Uncle B-rad. Well, now our house is not pink and it looks great. B really worked hard and it paid off! THANKS DADDY!

You know you have good babysitters when...

You know you have good babysitters when they invite you to spend the day on the the lake with their family!!!

We are so lucky to have the best babysitters in the whole world...and they are all from the same family. The babysitting sisters invited us on their boat this Sat with their parents and another family that they babysit for. We had an amazing time. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves!!

Here is AM driving their jet ski!

C was hesitant at first, but then all he wanted to do was drive!! Mommy even got a turn to play on the jet ski...poor Daddy had to stay home and paint the house. (Post to follow when paint dries :)

CHEESEEEEE!! We HAD to go to a beach that was dubbed "C's Island" because of his persistance to get there! Here are the kids with the oldest sister and baby A!
C even got to drive the boat on the way home...I mean really drive it! I think he might do okay if he would look where he was going more often!

Happy Birthday my B!

By "my B", I of course mean my loving husband. My attempt to have our family swear off wings for good failed miserably as I arranged a small gathering of friends and family at B's favorite wing spot. I tried desperately not to post these pictures of my favorite father-in-law, but...alas...I couldn't help it! We had a great time for B's 31st birthday!! I am so sorry Pops...we love you...

Stay at home VS working

As a woman who will be going back to work full time after staying at home with my little ones, I was moved to tears when I read this ...
http://www.5minutesforparenting.com/35/if-every-mom-were-a-stay-at-home-mom/
(thank you musingsofmichelle for posting what you have been clicking)

I can finally breath a heavy sign of relief now that we have officially decided where AM and C will be for the next year. B and I have had so much anxiety about being economical and doing what is best for our kids. Last night we worked out all the details and we are all set. I think they will have a good balance between one on one care and being around other children!

PS Shouldn't I be teaching Calculus right now? Darn first year...working out the kinks!!

Tag - I'm It
I was tagged by Michelle So, here are my answers...

1. If you could inherit a comfortable home in any city in the world that you could use but not sell, where would you want it to be?

I love that Michelle put Capri...that is so rad, but so difficult to get to...remember when we got stuck on that bus around Naples...

ANYWAYS, mine would definitely be in the mountains in Montana close to where B and I got engaged. Probably on a lake, with some sweet view...but not to tough to get to:)

2. If you could be instantly fluent in one other language that you currently do not read or speak, which would it be? Why? Latin? Then I might be a better speller...let's face it, I don't spell to good!

3. If you were given an hour to spend an unlimited amount of money in any store in the world where would it be?Super Target keeps popping up for some reason, maybe because I spend so much money there, but I would love to go crazy at pottery barn!!

4. If you had to give your children to the care of someone famous, whom would you pick?
I think I would have to say Will Ferrell? or Oprah...yeah...Oprah...or Newt Gingrich

5. If you could cast an actor now alive to play you in a new film, what kind of film would it be and whom would you choose?
The film would be a tragedy and the role of me would be played by Katherine Heigle...JOKES!! It would have to be a comedy and Joan Cusack or the chick from "3rd rock from the sun" would probably nail me.

6. If you could have an elegant dinner alone with anyone presently alive, whether you know them or not, who would you want it to be?
Jesse from the bachelorette...he is too cute right? :) Jokes again, it would be so uncomfortable with anyone besides B.

7. If you could resolve any single dispute, anywhere in the world what would you solve?
This is too deep for a blog ,isn't it? Well, my blog anyway! How could you possible choose? OK, gun to my head...I would go with equality. Done, resolved!

8. If you were instantly able to play one musical instrument perfectly that you have never played before, what would it be?
The trumpet, oh wait I can already play that, thanks DAD! I think it would have to be the guitar!
