So, we inherited these boots...

I think they are hideous, but AM really loves her shoes. Actually, she loves every one's shoes. She love wearing C shoes or my shoes or anyone that comes over and takes off their shoes. She found these and HAD to wear them.

Daddy had to run and errand to the Stein and took AM with him. She, of course, would not take off the atrocious boots and Daddy was forced to take her in public wearing them. We thought she would get some laughs, but NO. My suspicions about the Stein were confirmed when B came home and told of stories of women going on and on about how adorable her boot were...huh?

She looks like a drill team dancer or something, right?

C's summer school

C and AM just finished a short 3 week summer school MDO at our church. I was so special because C got to celebrate his birthday at school with his buddies. He had an interesting class...only one girl and like 10 boys I think.

You don't have to sign up for kodakphoto gallery, just keep clicking "view the slide show"after you click the link below. I just thought you might a glimpse at C at school:)

They love their uncle.

We are so lucky to have B's family close to us. C and AM love their Uncle. Luckily, I think he likes them pretty well too.
C and AM have gotten into giving zerburts(aka raspberries)...you know...making a toot sound. Here is AM giving Daddy one after she had gone around to everyone in the room and done the same. C went to give Uncle B-rad one, but said, "You're too hairy!"

Party time!

For C's birthday, we got a big ol' water slide. B and I decided that the party was a success...I think because B had so much fun on the water slide with his brother. Everything was pretty low key. We got a party tray of nuggets from Chick-fil-a and a cookie cake. C got some great gifts including a couple puzzles and new CARS stuff :)

AM wasn't into the big Ole' slide, but she managed to have fun!

Adults on the deck...laughing a B and B-rad's crazy antics.
Just one quick taste...

Happy 3rd Birthday to Mr. C!!

Today our little boy became a man...Well, not really, but it did seem so weird to keep saying he was two. Three definitely fits. I hope he had a good birthday. We sung to him when he got up and he opened some presents that had arrived in the mail.
We sent him to school with cupcakes for his class and they gave him a crown. Granny picked him up and he got MORE cupcakes. Came home just long enough to play with the balloons Gramma and Papa sent. Then, B took C to an Astros game for a dinner of popcorn and one of Daddy's nachos. We are having a party for him on Sat...with a giant slip-n-slide...ya know...normal stuff.

One week ago today...

We were carpooling home from the 2nd annual Aggie BBQ that was held in p-town. Last year we hosted a small BBQ at our house(this was pre-blog), but there were only 5 kids there and the youngest was my little AM at just 3 months old. This year, there were twice as many kids.
I made everyone get in a self-timer group shot...my fav! I feel like I choked though because it turned out a little blurry. AVu did what he could to repair it in photo shop, but alas, I think I need a more expensive camera...sigh...

You may be asking yourself, "Self, how did she get all those kids to sit so well on the stairs?" The answer my friends...cookies! There were a few arms of assistance, but mainly my use of bribery strikes again!!

In case you don't remember...

Before we painted our house, it was pink...okay, maybe mauve. I posted a before picture to go along with the post-painting picture!

I wasn't going to post this, but...

I couldn't stop thinking about how old and out of touch I am already. Therefore, I am posting it!

Could I have 4 kids?

Yesterday, we went to our old roommates new house for a bit of swimming. Two of C's favorite friends came with us so their mom could get some work done on the house. The morning was fun, but I was in "crisis mode" the majority of the time.

We had a snack of yogurt raisins. Swimming make you so hungry.

Now, we are having a snack of goldfish. Swinging makes you so hungry.
Here C is swinging with his favorite person in the whole entire world...and that is not an exaggeration. C started off the day by causing his self-proclaimed BFF to wear a band-aid on his head after an unfortunate boat throwing incident.
Lunch started off with all the kids sitting with their feet in the pool. When the splashing was halted due to dry clothes, they decided to move to the table to eat :)
