AC's dance recital:)

Last weekend was AC's first dance recital... AM also got dressed up for the occasion!

 B made sure we got there SUPER early...made for a good time for pictures:)

Thanksgiving 2012

On Thanksgiving Day this year, I started the day off with a Turkey Trot with a friend from work.

Then we headed over to Granny and Pops' for a delicious meal...as usual:)

 And some building:)

 Aunt Net and Uncle B-rad were there as well.

 I made the flower arrangement below... I call it Harvest Delight.

AC is in dance now!!

 This is from her first day.  She has really improved since then, but I misplaced my camera.  Her teachers are the same ones AM had last year:)  That is sooo fun!!

 This is a really touch move...especially for a 3 year old!!  Granny usually takes her and says she is very athletic and doing so well:)

C's soccer

AM Soccer

We are giving soccer another go with AM.  IT turns out that there are a few people on my soccer team that all have daughters that are the same age, so we decided to get together and start a soccer team with them:)  She has gotten so much better and more aware.  We have been sooooo proud of her.

She has even scored a goal this year and done some fantastic dribbling:)  She is much more excited about games and practices also.

Here she takes a goal kick and follows the play up the field.  I wish I had a video of her scoring her goal.  Would have melted your heart with all her excitement:)

Cousin Adam comes to visit...

AGAIN.  This time we went out to eat some mexican.  He had it already in the week, but I think he liked it.  We had a couple of margaritas.  We we got home...things got crazy!  Heated game of Mario and mooning ensued... by C of course, not Adam:)

Stella was sure happy to see him again:)

My baby has a small addiction...

It's to electronics.  She takes after her brother...and her parents.  We try to restrict their usage of electronics to the weekends only, but she is not happy about it!!  She loves the kindle, my phone, the DS, and especially playing Mario Kart on the Wii...

Here she is playing Wii with dad and brother.  She gets pretty upset when things don't go her way as well.  It's like she's really competitive or something...?

She even likes cameras.  She took these with my camera.  The following weekend she broke an older digital camera, so now she is not allowed to use mine any more....Here are some of her works of art.

she makes me cry

I know everyone feels that their daughter is the most amazing in the whole world, but lately, my AM has really been showing me how truly amazing she is.  My heart has just been breaking for her since she has started Kindergarten.  It has been causing be some anxiety to say the least.  She doesn't really know anyone in her class and so she has been very quiet at school she says.  We have been asking her who she has been eating lunch with and playing on the playground with hoping that she might be making some new friends...

The first day of school she said she ate with a boy named Victor.  She knew his name because he got moved from green to blue...on the first day of school...what kinda horrible kid get moved from green the first week of school ;).  The next day she came home say she ate lunch with another boy and Vic but she didn't know his name.  He was very funny.  She was also friendly with the girl that doesn't speak much English.  So basically I am picture my worst nightmare.  All the cute little girls in her class all gabbing and going on about how cute their bows look and shinny their shoes are and their is my AM with a girl that doesn't speak any English and 2 trouble making boys.  It's killing me! 

When I ask her who she plays with on the play ground she say she just kinda walks around by herself.  There are some girls they we know she knows and I ask her if she sees them and why she she doesn't play with them and why doesn't she play with kids from PreK and why doesn't she want to be on the TOP OF THE MONKEY BARS MAKING THE ENTIRE KINDERGARTEN LAUGH AND THINK SHE IS THE FUNNIEST GIRL IN THE SCHOOL...I DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!!  She just says she just walks around and she just needs time.  She seems fine with the whole situation. 

When I think about how I would feel walking around the playground by myself, it makes my want to cry, but she is fine with it.  That is what she wants to do right now.  She wants to wait on meeting the other girls in class because she is scared to talk to them, but she is okay with that.  She is enjoying school and her teacher and her new Spanish speaking friend :) and she makes me cry because everyone says she looks like me, but she is nothing like me.  She is her own little person inside and she is so AMAZING!!!!  I am so proud of our little kindergartner.  I can't wait to see who she will be be at the end of this year.

First day of School 2012

Well, Let me begin by saying that AM began Kindergarten this year which is a really big deal!!  It all starts the week before school with meet the teacher.

Here we went to AM's class and saw her cubbie and desk and meet her teacher:)

She was VERY excited, but also VERY nervous.  So much so that she wasn't talking much.  She was having tummy aches at home too.  B said she was so quite while all her classmates came in and met her teacher and saw their room for the new year.

C on the other hand was very excited and more comfortable because this was his second year in Elementary School.  His 1st grade class had a few of his friends so he was looking forward to school beginning:)
