3rd Annual Aggie BBQ

Sooooooooooooooooooo, we just got back from this year's aggie bbq. We took some similar pictures to the 2nd Annual Aggie BBQ. I really do need to learn how to operate my camera better...this still looks blurry to me:) Here is everyone in the group picture!!

Because sometimes my blog is for teaching...

Premise: I am a picture person. I am not a big reader. For example, I only "read" the ads in the Sunday paper. Maybe when I grow up I will read more of it. Because of this, my blog consists mainly of pictures because that is what I like. However, sometimes it is necessary for me to use my blog to make the world a better place...and that sometime...is today. Perhaps in the future I will share more stories. We'll see how this goes over.

This morning C got up out of bed and came to greet AM and I sitting in the living room. He seemed distressed and said, "Sometimes my butt goes straight and I don't like it." Amazingly enough, I knew exactly what he was talking about and responded with, "I think you need to talk to you father about that." Unfortunately, when he approached Daddy, he was met with some confusion. B's face just screamed, "How does a butt go straight?" I knew my male counterpart was not going to be able to help me out so I stepped in...

"Now C, that is not your butt. You butt is your booty, your behind, that's your butt. In front is your penis and sometimes in the mornings, it goes straight. It's perfectly normal and it will go away in a little bit, K?"

"Okay, can I have some chocolate milk?"


AND SO, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case this happens to you, you can be ready with a good answer. One of those things I wish I had been ready for...like pointing the penis down in the diaper so it doesn't go all over the place...because it will. Thank God for the Internet!

we went and got our picture made...

I am going to share some of the ones that we did not get prints of... for whatever reason!! Today, we have the group pictures that have more than one family member in them. I really wanted to get some pictures of our new baby AC. They took so many picture and quite a few of AM and C. I will share those tomorrow because they are so cute!! BUT, we have a budget, man!

Friday was B's thirty-??? birthday...

Getting older is funny. I know that B and I aren't soooooo old or anything, but when I asked him how old we were this year, he had to do the math using out birth year. 30 is such a BIG birthday and you are truly aware of it, but since it seems that we are just waiting for the next milestone birthday. B says it is because he is in denial of how old he really is :)

We have definitely been reflecting on our life and all the things that we have been given and accomplish. We are doing alright...

Here the kids are making Daddy some birthday cupcakes...

C and I put the icing and sprinkles on. If sprinkles were well wishes, we are gonna have a GREAT year!

We went to Bill's with some friends...

Including JuJu and S. They came over after and hung out!! Very FUN! We are so lucky they came down for a visit...
