My Cousin Adam came to visit

Funny thing was I couldn't say Brittany's name without saying Adam's.  She is now married, but when ever I reference her and her husband I always say, "Brittany and Adam".  And I always say Adam the way she says adam...with a northern accent...ayhea-dumm.

 He and Stella had an instant bond.  Partly because he kept making weird noises...

He'll be back.  Mainly just to visit the dog, but he will be back.

Gramma and Papa for Spring Break

C was so proud to read the entire book that Gramma had given to him for her!!  We were too!

We relaxed in the morning time:)

 We went and watch C play some baseball!!

 We went and watched C play some soccer!!

 It was St Patrick's Day and C insisted on GREEN shorts!!!!

 We played and had a GREAT visit with them:)

AM is 5!

Such a special occasion calls for a Wall of Honor tribute!!  I put up pictures of our angel from when she was a baby until this year!

Here we are post-school celebration.  Her birthday tends to fall on Spring Break, so we celebrate the Thurs before with her classmates.  We missed the cupcakes at school because of scheduling, so we recreated the party at home the next night:)

On her actually Birthday, we went out to eat for some Mexican food.  Gramma and Papa don't get much legit Mexican food.  They sang Happy Birthday and everything.  I loved it because none of the kids even asked for a sugar sweet dessert... They were satisfied with the meal and good time.

For AM's actual birthday party, we took 5 of her closest friends to Build A Bear.  We gave her several options for birthday party and she was adamant about having it here:)

I loved that all the kids got their own stuffed animal as a party present!!

Everyone came over after to have cupcakes and hang out. (But only briefly because I had a soccer game:)

We got her a bike and Barbie vanity table.  She loves her bike!!!

No more Shark Teeth:)

On Friday, C went to the dentist to have his 2 front teeth pulled.  I had to sit in meetings, but B said he was so brave and did so well!!  He is so cute with out those two bottom teeth:)

We can't call him shark teeth any more:)  The tooth-fairy only gave him $4...Granny thought $20 would be appropriate with all the trouble.  It was a tough call:)  He was excited to get the $$

Check it out!!  C's permanent teeth are growing in behind his baby teeth.  They said they would get loose and fall out on their own...Much to B's financial dismay, they are not loosening!

We call him a SHARK because he has rows of teeth!!  I will keep you posted on the teeth saga!!

Veggie Tales Live

I took the kids to see the Veggie Tales Live show.  It was an experience.  The church it was playing at was about an hour away.  I bought the kids some souvenirs. Don't they look ecstatic? It was kinda like their first concert:)  We had a pretty good time...

They sung all of Larry's Silly Songs, which was funny, but the kids are more familiar with the other songs.  The highlight for me was the  Bellybutton song.  The kids actually danced to Shout.  They were really cute in that they didn't really know how to react.

We are doing our duty to society by keeping this boxer until she finds a good home.  We love her so much but I really want a fluffy dog.  I told B we could keep her as long as we can get a fluffy dog as well:)  He thinks 3 dogs would be excessive.  He said the same thing about kids...JOKES!

She is still learning how to be a good dog.  She sure is cute.

 So much so that one day she got on the counter and ate the Creamy Jalapeno Dip that I had made.  Notice the Creamy Jalapeno goatee...
