Last night I FINALLY met up with the soccer girls. We had planned on getting together last Thurs, but the restaurant was under water :(. This was after 6+months since our prior encounter... it is really tough coordinating everybody's schedule. Randall had a harem of women as he ended up the only male able to make it...ladies, ladies, ladies! We all played soccer together in college and now we are starting to get married, have kids, get real jobs (nice work Katherine!). I think we are all going to try and run in the Houston Marathon...well, the half.

Annemarie's Baptism

AM was baptized today. Things got off to a rocky start to say the least. I think that she must have given herself an upset stomach because she was so nervous about her date with God. She also didn't want Uncle B-rad(her sponsor) to blow it!! At any rate, as we were walking out the door, AM spit up all over me and I had to run and change. This of course after she had just spit up on Great Grandma's baptism dress that was over 80 years old. Typical. During the service she and C were perfect angels...except when C said, "I want to go bye bye.", on our way up to the altar. Luckily, it got a chuckle from the congregation. Granny and Pops were there along with B-rad and T-bird. We went out to lunch after, followed by a round of naps, except Uncle B-rad(he's not really a napper). C looked so cute. He managed to keep his tie on, but couldn't keep his shirt tucked in.

All in all, the day was about AM and it was so wonderful. We sincerely feel blessed...

Hey ho here we go...

Let's go swimming, swimming, swimming...

This past week found the Johnsons at Gramma and Papa's house on the lake. A and C had such an amazing time acclimating themselves to life on a lake. C found confindence "swimming in the big lake". The shallow water and lack of waves allowed him to walk in and out at his leisure. He became so comfortable he would just splash around and fall on his butt. This was A's maiden voyage swimming and she would just smile constantly while looking at her feet in the water. C relished in his cousin's company and always made sure that James was "Nigh Nigh" before he himself will turn in for bed.

Family Rules!!!

I don't know about you, but I love my family. Every one of 'em. For Mother's Day 2007, I was fortunate enough to have my mother and her mother at my house. Counting me and my little one...that was 4 generations...on Mother's Day no less! It pretty much ruled.

We love Great Grandma. She is so cute. She says, "Look what I created. Look what I did!"
